My name is Phoenix Starfire. I live my life with a quirky, crazy, and wonderfully insane point-of-view, much to the aggravation and enjoyment of my family and friends. I am a good ole' country girl born and raised in South Georgia (yes that means I love mud and big pick-em-up trucks). I have been a practicing pagan for five years now, and I am still technically a novice (though I'm pretty sure the learning never really ends). I follow an eclectic path with strong ties to Celtic and Native American traditions with a little bit of Greek and Norse thrown in for flavor. I am studying to become proficient at Tarot, astrology, and numerology. I am a crafty wytch and I am an expert knitter as well as an amateur at scrapbooking. I currently live with my parents, my brother, two snakes, three dogs (we recently lost one), one color-changing Beta fish, and four cats including my feline familiar named Tuff (he's the love of my life). I practice as a solitary because being a pagan in the Bible Belt generally means you keep to yourself (no I have not escaped the broom closet). I started this blog as a way to organize my craft studies and to help me take some time each day to relax and connect with my deities. Hopefully it will also be a good place for newcomers to the Craft to find material to help them on their paths.
